A Conversation with Italian Writer Beatrice Salvioni

An online reading by the author, followed by a discussion on 1930s Italy, current Italian literature, and friendship. In Italian.

The Italian Cultural Center of San Diego (ICC) is thrilled to announce that the celebrated Italian writer Beatrice Salvioni will join us from Italy for an-hour long online discussion about her recent book, La Malnata (The Cursed Friend).

A collaboration between ICC’s School and Events, the Zoom encounter will consist of a book excerpt read by the writer; an interview to her by ICC Teacher and Journalist Elisa Meazzini and ICC’s Creative Director Beatrice Basso; and a guided Q&A.

This event is a culmination of La Malnata book club with Elisa at ICC and is open to all.

The book is available in both Italian and English. However, the conversation will be fascinating whether you have read the book or not.

The event will be in Italian.
