You’ve been learning the language, but do you know how to speak (and think) like an Italian? Develop your inner Italian and start to discover the unspoken “rules” of Italian culture with this workshop series. We’ll talk in Italian, and we’ll talk Italian – what it means to speak and think all’italiana (the Italian way).
This class is designed to develop the conversational skills of beginner- and intermediate-level learners who have some prior study of Italian. Each workshop meeting will be based on a topic from the required book – Davvero italiano – a fun and approachable “practical guide to living and thinking the Italian way,” with additional materials provided by the instructor as needed. Different topics will be discussed in each summer session, each representing common scenarios you’re likely to find yourself in when in Italy, so choose whichever session fits your schedule or sign up for both and let’s talk Italian this summer!
Language Level Recommended: Beginner (with prior study of Italian) through Intermediate
Class Offering:
Summer Session 2: Every Wednesday: 6:15 – 7:45 PM (online) with Lindsay as your instructor beginning on August 6, 2025, via zoom.
Schedule of Class Dates:
Class dates and time may be modified depending on enrollment.
Summer Session 2: Wednesday Classes begin on August 6, 2025, and end on September 3, 2025 (5 weeks)
