Bridging to Italy Through Italian Language and Culture
The Italian Cultural Center of San Diego is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1981 in San Diego’s Little Italy as a meeting point for anyone interested in Italian culture and language. To learn more about our history, visit our history page.
The ICC offers language classes, concerts, Italian cultural events, citizenship test preparation (CILS prep), and so much more. We are also the only center in San Diego that is recognized by Università di Siena to be a testing site for the Italian language proficiency exams.
We have an enriched community of students and members who are Italian Americans, Italophiles, and Italians of various origins. And we would love you to join our community of Italian loving learners. Benvenuti!
Our mission is to offer the richest Italian experience in San Diego through Italian classes and special events.
Our primary goal is to promote Italian culture in all its varied forms. To achieve this goal, we have always emphasized the importance of exposing our students and members to innovative and inspiring cultural events and teaching the Italian language as a bridge to access a wider cultural context.
ICC offers a variety of classes, special workshops and cultural events.
If you are unsure which course level you should take, please take one of our proficiency tests or contact Gabiella Pozzolli (gabriella.pozzoli@icc-sd.org) to discuss options.
