Description
Italians often speak fast; can you keep up? This class is designed to develop the listening comprehension and to build the vocabulary of beginner- and intermediate-level learners who have some prior study of Italian. Each workshop meeting will be based on a topic from the required book, Nuovo vocabolario visuale, which includes integrated audio content for each topic, and with additional audio and written materials provided by the instructor as needed. Each week of the series, we’ll also explore and practice a different strategy for studying and retaining vocabulary.
Different topics will be discussed in each summer session, so choose whichever session fits your schedule or sign up for both and listen up in Italian this summer!
Language Level Recommended: Beginner (with prior study of Italian) through Intermediate
Class Offering:
Summer Session 2: Every Tuesday: 6:15 – 7:45 PM (online) with Lindsay as your instructor beginning on August 5, 2025, via zoom.
Schedule of Class Dates:
Class dates and time may be modified depending on enrollment.
Summer Session 2: Tuesday Classes begin on August 5, 2025, and end on September 2, 2025 (5 weeks)
Required Textbook or Book Club Reading:
Books are not included in the registration price and ICC does not sell textbooks.
