Our teacher Patrizia is absolutely fantastic! 1. She was really great when we had questions to put them on the white board & work through the explanation in a very thorough way. 2. She was very patient & willing to answer tons of questions. 3. Her English is perfect so finding examples / translations for explanations was very helpful. – Joe
Lily made it easier for us to navigate the book we are using (book requires us to go back and forth constantly) and even provided printed handouts with extra information and exercises, which made it more fun and engaging. She also is always sharing the events that are happening so we can join and further our learning experience. – Stephanie
Lily is excellent at bringing up interesting topics in class to get us engaged. I appreciate her perspective on the book we’re reading and it makes it even more than just learning Italian but having a lot of fun at a great book club. – Erin

Dr. Eufusia offered students strategies for learning how to trial/employ multimodal approaches to learning vocabulary –visual (virtual and actual book), audio, interactive/discussion based– in every class. She utilized these media equally successfully in the work she assigned for outside class practice, giving us the tools we needed to experiment with the material and hopefully to discover new ways to process and incorporate vocabulary into our Italian language foundations. Dr. Eufusia models enthusiasm, curiosity, and patience in her style, which makes students feel welcome at any ability level, as well as if we were learning with as well as from her. She is a truly gifted educator. – John
Antonia is very welcoming and creates a warm, nonthreatening learning environment, and she dealt as best she could with students who were of very different levels. – Summer session student
Antonia provides plenty of opportunities to converse. – Tom
