The Consulate General of Italy, in order to facilitate the access to the services rendered by the passport department to our citizens living in areas far away from Los Angeles, also this year is organizing - in collaboration with our local Honorary Vice Consulate - a meeting in San Diego to take the fingerprints of those who wish to apply for a new passport without having to come to our main Office. The meeting will be held on December 1, 2016. All fellow citizens interested should schedule an appointment, by November 16, 2016 To schedule your appointment please send an email containing your first and last name, place and date of birth, telephone number and previous or current passport number (if applicable), telephone number and email to the following email addresses: Honorary Vice Consulate in San Diego– sandiego.onorario@esteri.it Please note that the current valid passports need to be changed only when expired or about to expire (within six months from their natural expiration date). Therefore, only the Italian citizens that have an already expired passport, or one about to expire, or in need of their first passport or of a new one due to the deterioration, loss or theft of their current passport, can ask for a new passport and request an appointment.
