Existing and new students are asked to complete the pre-requisite requirement by taking the proficiency assessment before enrolling.
This course is designed for adult learners at the highest level of Italian language proficiency. Using Nuovo Magari C2 (Alma Edizioni), students will explore sophisticated topics related to Italian society, the arts, and language,with an emphasis on nuance, style, and cultural depth. Through the analysis of authentic texts, literary excerpts, journalistic writing, and multimedia content, learners will refine their ability to interpret, critique, and produce complex language in both spoken and written forms. Themes include contemporary social issues, art and cultural heritage, linguistic evolution, and rhetorical strategies for argumentation and formal discourse. The course promotes critical thinking, cultural reflection, and stylistic precision.
Class Schedule:
Every Tuesday: 9:30 – 11:00 AM (online) with Elisa as your instructor beginning on January 13, 2026, and ending on March 17, 2026 (10 weeks).
