Lindsay Eufusia

Born and raised in California, Lindsay’s Italian roots trace back to San Giorio di Susa (Piemonte). She began her own study of Italian in earnest at UCSD, then earned a BA in Italian from UC Berkeley and a Masters and PhD in Italian Studies from New York University. By joining ICC in 2025 she is excited to bring her enthusiasm for Italian language and culture full circle back to area where her own ongoing adventures in Italian first started. She has lived and studied extensively in Italy, primarily in Venezia, Firenze, and Roma. She has taught at universities, community colleges, and cultural centers in New York City, the Chicago/Evanston area, and Portland, Oregon, where she currently lives. She has also worked as a translator (Italian to- English) and as an editor and proofreader developing educational materials for learners of Italian. In her free time Lindsay enjoys discovering new books, music, and tv shows – especially British and Italian shows – and expanding her cat’s vocabulary in Italian.
