Born in Rome and raised in Milan, Cristina Belpassi grew up in a multilingual family that fostered her passion for languages and the arts. She earned a Master’s Degree in Modern Languages and Literature from the University of Milan followed by a Master’s Degree in Bilingual Translation at the University of Westminster in London.  During her 9 years in the UK, she worked extensively as an Italian language instructor in the academic and the private sector and as a language consultant and translator for the media industry. In 2002 she moved to the United States and founded a translation and interpretation business service. Since 2018 she served as the Language services Program Manager of a local non-profit organization where she successfully integrated her passion for languages with her commitment to serving the local immigrants. She particularly enjoys teaching the Italian language and sharing her culture with the San Diego community, believing in the power of communication across cultures to enable education, growth and peace.
