Designed for Italian language learners who want to move from studying Italian to actually using it, this immersive week pairs structured learning with real-life practice—so your Italian starts to feel natural, not theoretical.
Mornings are spent studying Italian at Il Sasso. Afternoons and evenings are dedicated to using Italian in real situations, with all activities guided in Italian by native speakers. The experience is intentionally small, supportive, and focused on building confidence—not perfection.

About the Program and Partnership
This Italian language immersion tour is offered by the Italian Cultural Center of San Diego in partnership with Vero Viaggio, a boutique tour operator specializing in immersive, Italian language experiences in Italy.
Unlike traditional study programs or guided tours, this experience is built around using Italian throughout the day—in class, at meals, during activities, and in daily interactions—supported continuously by native speakers. The goal is confidence, fluency, and real-world ease with the language.
