Tiziana Balestra​

Tiziana Balestra was born in the city of Chieti, in the Abruzzo region. She grew up in the city of Rome where she studied at the University of Rome, La Sapienza. She has a master’s degree in modern literature. Tiziana Balestra has been teaching Italian language and culture since 2002 at San Mateo College, Skyline College and the adult school in San Mateo. This is her first year at Italian Cultural Center San Diego. Tiziana has a real passion for transmitting the Italian language and culture and believes that everyone can learn it. When she’s not teaching, she loves spending time with her family and has a real passion for spinning and swimming.
