Existing and new students are asked to complete the pre-requisite requirement by taking the proficiency assessment before enrolling.
This advanced course is intended for adult learners who have completed the C1 level and wish to refine their fluency, accuracy, and cultural awareness in Italian. Students will engage with authentic materials and complex texts to develop advanced comprehension and expressive skills in both spoken and written Italian. Language functions and vocabulary include analyzing and debating cultural issues, interpreting nuanced meanings, expressing agreement and disagreement with precision, and using idiomatic expressions appropriately.
Grammar review includes advanced uses of the indicative mood, indirect speech, adverbs and discourse connectors. The course encourages critical thinking and interaction through articles, interviews, and real-life scenarios drawn from contemporary Italian society.
Class Schedule:
Every Wednesday: 10:00 – 11:30 AM (online) with Lindsay as your instructor beginning on April 8, 2026, and ending on June 10, 2026 (10 weeks).

Book: Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano 3 by Edilingua (unità 1, 2, 3, 4, 5). The textbook is available at Libreria Pino (get book here) or your favorite book source.
